The main difference between Akron® and Dolotek® materials lies in their composition and specific properties. Dolotek® is made from a blend of polyester resin and dolomite stone, giving it a pure white finish, a smooth feel, and a non-porous surface. This material allows for molding complex shapes and is known for its high resistance to fire, UV rays, and thermal shock. Additionally, it provides sound insulation and is easy to clean, making it ideal for those looking for an elegant and low-maintenance design.

On the other hand, Akron® is made from polyurethane and mineral fillers without silica. Thanks to its mass compaction process, it is a reinforced material that offers high-definition textures, impact resistance, and excellent anti-slip capacity (Class 3).
